The Bourbon Monarch

Bourbon Monarch
Full-sized elk with real antlers which also doubles as a liquor cabinet.  Carved from basswood and painted, it is 114"long, 44"wide, and 61" high at the top of the head excluding the antlers.

 

The antlers can be removed for moving the piece through doorways.  Two ruffed grouse carved from basswood dominate the surrounding habitat.  Cherry wood, etched glass, mirrors, and lights greet you when the elk's side is opened.  The elk has a CD player inside his neck and a remote control activates the elk's bugle.
